About the event
Communities of color need high-impact asset-building services to address the broad and deep racial wealth divide, and we have learned that nonprofits led by people of color are uniquely positioned to serve their communities because of their understanding of the historical, financial, and economic trauma in their affected communities. However, nonprofits that reflect the diverse communities they serve often need help securing and sustaining critical funding to continue operations.
The EVC community-wide training series focuses on building key organizational infrastructure and operational functions to increase mission impact. This 4-part training is designed to build leadership and capacity for community-serving organizations. We'll cover various issues, including basic action leadership, strategic communications, and revenue generation. This opportunity was once initially reserved for project cohort members, but for a limited time, we’re inviting the greater Flint nonprofit of color to learn with us!
Join us for the four sessions. Participation is free, but advanced registration is required—so register today!
This Get Fit Wednesday Training Series is made possible through the Greater Flint Coronavirus Taskforce on Racial Inequities’ Philanthropic Subcommittee: The Community Foundation of Greater Flint, Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, Ruth Mott Foundation, and the United Way of Genesee County.
