EVC TRAINING INSTITUTE.
Enterprising Ventures of Color was conceptualized and brought to life by Lillian Singh who has advanced racial economic analysis, program design solutions, grassroots capacity-building models, and power-building approaches to bridge the racial wealth divide for nearly two decades. It was during her Aspen Institute Civil Society Fellowship Venture that she decided to bring together learnings from all of her personal and professional experiences to form EVC–a leadership training institute for leaders of color working to advance the economic and social inclusion solutions.

The Enterprising Ventures of Color Training Institute:
-
Recognizes the structural challenges and systemic realities that leaders of color face in their personal and professional lives.
-
Challenges traditional leadership frameworks and aims to establish a new paradigm of effective leadership that recognizes and provides space for leaders of color.
-
Believes that building power is a communal act and encourages leaders to convene and harness their power together.
-
Understands that leaders must be nourished at a personal level to lead effectively, which is why it integrates personal self-care and development into its programming.
-
Offers concrete strategies for leaders of color to apply immediately to their work and provides an entry point for deeper and more tailored training opportunities.

The Institute offers three pathways for nonprofit leaders of color to connect and elevate their skills. The Leadership Academy, the Leadership Immersion, and the Leadership Fellowship all provide unique opportunities for personal and professional growth.
