EVC Lunch and Learn Speaker Series

Enterprising Ventures of Color (EVC) invites you to participate in a five-part national nonprofit speaker series where we will have prominent nonprofit leaders from across the country who have created innovative solutions and cutting-edge best practices to transform their communities. These nonprofit organizational experts will provide critical insights for increased positive social impact that contribute to their 501 © 3 success. Discussion topics will include emergent revenue generation techniques (individual donor campaigns, state and federal contracts), strategic, effective communication practices (social and paid media), power-building techniques, managing complex boards, and self-care management tips.

Join us as we chat with Byron Sanders, a committed advocate for education, economic development and creating equitable communities. As the President and CEO of Big Thought, he explores innovative ways to narrow the opportunity gap and believes it’s our charge to shape society so young people have the chance to live the innate greatness that’s inside of them. Byron has been with the organization since 2008 in various capacities, as a supporter, volunteer, advisor, partner and board member.
